| This has been quite important for those who did not very well at the high school. It had acted as the second opportunity to give a go in the academic world. Fortunately this is recognised by lots of organisations. |

| Obtaining a GED allows one to apply for jobs and education programs that require a high school education. There are some High School students that will take the GED in order to start college earlier. Many students think that it's easy to get a GED, but the fact is, you still have to have knowledge of high school level math, English, science, and social studies. |
